Empowering the Youth Through Acting Classes in Baltimore, MD
THE BALTIMORE ACTING PROGRAM (BAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that nurtures creativity and emotional expression through after-school and enrichment programs for children and adolescents in grades K through 12. We utilize the therapeutic power of acting to provide a mental health and wellness outlet for Baltimore’s youth.

Acting Classes
Our acting classes in Baltimore, MD, help the youth develop the skills needed to shine onstage or on camera. Led by experienced staff with deep ties to Baltimore and the entertainment industry, our classes offer an enriching experience that cultivates confidence and personal growth.
Principles of Storytelling
Storytelling is at the heart of acting. Our program teaches students the principles of storytelling, allowing them to express their narratives passionately and authentically. This helps in developing their creativity.
Audition Preparation

Ages 5-11

Children will learn how to use acting and creativity in positive ways to express their feelings and how to relate to others through storytelling.

May 3 - June 7
introduction to acting: acting with emotion
Ages 12-17
Tues. 4-5p; Wed. 5:30-6:30p; Thurs. 6-7p; Sat. 10:30-11:30a
Youth will learn how to use four elements of acting (voice and body, emotion, imagination, and analysis) as a therapeutic power. The class will explore emotion and how to apply it to our acting.
